29 Dec 1733. RECEIPT FOR SLATES. A very neat receipt. 4” x 8”. Decr: 29th/1733 Recd from Sr. Christr: MUSGRAVE by ye hands of Lan: SIMPSON for a Rood of slate fourteen Shillings for a Rood of slate for ye old Park House at Kirkoswald, and for Eighty slate for Repaireing ye Stabell at Bewley four shillings & for forty yards of Easing stons for ye new barn at old Park at 2d per yard six shillings & Eight pence by me Joseph JAMES Ө mark ————- 1 : 4 : 8 ————-
