This was probably Thomas NELSON who was baptised at Edenhall 21 April 1655, and who was buried, ("Thomas Nelson of Harclay") at Kirkby Stephen 8 Sep 1722 aged 67 years. He appears to have married Margaret SOULBYE at Edenhall in 1680. A Margaret NELSON was buried at Kirkby Stephen 3 June 1701: "Margaret, the wife of Tho: Nelson of Hartley".
