01 Mar 1796. LETTER ABOUT WOOD. Bundle 61, Doc 16. 34 cm x 20.5 cm, folded in half to make four pages. The two inner pages are blank. Broken red wax seal. The scribbles and calculations on the outside appear to have nothing to do with the letter. Geo. ARNISON 1st. March 1796 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr Jonathan OLDMAN Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sir / Since I saw you at Penrith I met with Mr. Ino. DIXON at Kirkoswald & was asking him about the Ash wood he told me you had not said anything to him Concerning it. Therefore must beg the favour of you to let him know if you think Convenient to let me have any Ash for Shaft Wood & about 6 Small Alders Wherin you will greatly Oblige your Hbl. Servt.
