Feb 1796. LETTER FROM KIRKOSWALD REQUESTING QUICKS FOR HEDGE. Bundle 61, Doc 20. 21.5 cm x 19 cm. Black seal with corresponding hole where it was torn open. John DIXON Feby. 1796 ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. OLDMAN Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sir We have abt. 100 Yards of Bare Hedge up the Laneside going to Fogclose which would be of Advantage were it set with Quicks – if agreable, shall thank you to send them by your Carts when they go to Sickergill – if not, shall fetch them when they are ready, pray let them be strong ones –––– I’m sorry to inform you that J.
