29 Oct 1795. SOLICITOR’S LETTER ABOUT INTEREST FOR JULIA HASELL. Bundle 61, Doc 27. 23.5 cm x 20 cm. Seal with corresponding hole where it was torn open. Numerous scribbled calculations on the outside not transcribed. Mr. GRAVE 29. Octr. 1795 Directions to Miss Julia HASELL Jona ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. OLDMAN Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sir Miss Julia HASELL has wrote to her Brother at Dalemain saying she Expects and it was so agreed that her Interest shod. be paid half yearly, you should therefore send her a Bill for 50s. for half years Int~. directed to her at William HOUGHTON’s Esqr. Liverpool –––– I dont find that any Courts have been kept at Soulby between 1725. & 1732, which I think Can’t be, however I have no such Entries Yours truly [signed] Ed GRAVE Penrith 29. Octr 1795
