26 Mar 1790. LETTER WITH NEWS FROM KIRKBY STEPHEN. Bundle 62, Doc 38. 15.5 cm x 10.5 cm. John RAILTON 26th. March 1790 ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Mr. OLDMAN at Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kirkby Stephen March 26th. 1790 Sir I have not got pay of Mr. ISLIP for the Oak Bark. I went to the Heaning with Mr. BRADLEY we Marked 150 Numbers beside sum Sifers they most part of them very bad ones. Soulby Miller is leading Stones most Every Day, the Stones are let to get at Castle for Wm. DAWSON Building at 6d½ per yard if there be not throw Stones anew got out at Castle they are to be got in the Riggs at Ladfoot. I am Sir your most obedient Servt. [signed] John RAILTON
