04 Feb 1790. LETTER WITH NEWS FROM KIRKBY STEPHEN. Bundle 62, Doc 2. 18 cm x 15 cm. Remains of a red seal. John RAILTON 4th. Febry. 1790 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Mr. OLDMAN at Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kirkby Stephen Febry. 4th. 1790 Sir / I recd. yours by Mr. GRAVE on Monday I did not know of his cuming again so soun or I would have writen against he had cume I have look’d over my Rental & my Book. I find that I shall stand Indeted to you for the remaindr. of the 13 ~ 8 ~ 0¼ but what those arears make up which you kave which I gave you an account of Some time ago, I have not got any more of ye. Rents since you was up but I will go next weak to see what I can get more of them, you will let me know if I must send you what I get more I send you the weight of the Lead that was last weight and got in the Rigges by John DAWSON I so Mr. MUNKHOUSE one Mounday about geting Stones in his Quarey for to go to Soulby he said there was a larg post of Stone that was not all taken up you were welcom to get them if you Chouse but he did not think it convinent to have any more ground broke up & KITCHEN the Quary Man Said he thought there would be near 200 Cart Load of Stones in the post, please to give the Inclosd to Mr. DOBSON, I am Sir your most Obedt Servt [signed] John RAILTON
