Octr. 1789 ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Mr OLDMAN at Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Soulby Octor. ye 23rd 1789 Sr. I have sent you 4£ ~ 6s the Remaining part of my Rent un paied I must beg of you to Excuse me for not sending it according to my Promise for we have had such Weather for Rain as I never kew I could not get to Appleby but neglect our Corne for we have had the greatest part of it out of Doors all this Rain till now I am Sr. your Hble.
