Mr. St: GRAHAM 24. Augst: 1776 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. DOBSON at Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sir / I send your Bills as desired – The Journey to Edenhall 9th. June I think should not appear to the Arbitrators and if you think so too I can send you a Copy omitting that Item. You should have Mr. MORGANs Bill to lay before the Arbitrators, and you shod. get Mr. WHELPDALEs Charge for returning the Certiorari’s, and send it to Mr. MORGAN to see it is right because Mr. WHELPDALE says the Charge will be high but you’l not say to Mr. WHELPDALE that I hinted this ~ There is only one part of the award between Sir Philip MUSGRAVE & John GRAHAM &c. and the Receipt for the Money awarded is Indorsed thereon and Mr. CARRICK and Mr. GRAHAM desire the Award may remain with me. I will send you an Examined Copy of it with the Receipt if you desire it ~ I am Dr. Sr. / Carlisle 24th. } Your most obedt. H~ble Servt. August 1776 } [signed] Stuart Ja GRAHAM
