19 May 1776. SOLICITOR’S LETTER ABOUT A DISPUTE AND A COURT CASE. Bundle 62, Doc 23. 32.5 cm x 19 cm, folded in half to make four pages. Second page blank. Two large holes where red seal was torn open. Mr. GRAHAM Atty. 19. May 1776. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Mr. DOBSON at Edenhall ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr. Sir / I inclose you a Submission Note signed by Mr. CARRICK & John GRAHAM in their Difference with Sir Philip MUSGRAVE, but they wod. not sign without provision for Mr. NICOLSON & Mr. LOSH to name a person to determine if they differ. . If you don’t approve of it you will not sign the Submission: If you sign it you will please to return it to me & I will get it signed by Mr. GRAHAM ~ I [ ] a L[ette]r this Morning from Sir Philip about the GREENs which I must acknowledge to him or Mr. MORGAN. You will please to make & send me by the Post Tomorrow a Copy of the Writ – The Person who served the Copies on the GREENs must make an Affidt. of the Service before an Attorney at Penrith which Affidt. you will please to send to Mr. MORGAN I am Dear Sir / Carlisle 19th. } Your most h~ble Servt.
