16 Mar 1776. SOLICITOR’S LETTER ABOUT A COURT CASE. Bundle 47, Doc 28. 25 cm x 20 cm. Folded in half to make four pages. Remains of a red wax seal with corresponding holes and tears where it was broken open. Document rather crumpled. Doc 28 was together with Docs 29 and 30 wrapped into Doc 27 – they are all about the same case. Mr. GRAHAM Attorn~ 16. Mar: 1776. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Mr. DOBSON at Edenhall CARLISLE [straight line stamp] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sir / It seems too late to apply for a Warrant against GREEN & his Son, but a Bill notwithstanding may be preferred against them at the Sessions & it will be well to have it soon before the Grand Jury.
