Late 1600s/early 1700s. SPECIFICATIONS FOR INTERIOR DECORATION. Bundle 2. Doc 16. 30 cm x15 cm. In ye old Roome Hangings for 63 yards square of red & whight wrought floured linsy=woolsy, or what will suite with red furniture In ye midle Roome Hangings for 50 yards square & for 20 yards square for ye closet & if you shall think fitt to hang ym both with ye same, otherwise only for 50 for lining for ye whole bed, if it bee of severall colours 28 yards & an halfe. If it be all of one colour then there must bee but 24 yards of sarcenett & 4 yards & a halfe of ye same colour of Calicoe for ye teaster ——————————- A large looking glasse & 1 paire of light brasse candlestiks 12 sylver spoons & 6 sylver salts A piece of ordinary stained calicoe for loose covers for cushions & other uses A case of knives ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 126 of redd & white stuff: if but halfe ye bread will Cost – 6 – 6 – 0 140 yds. more of greene & white stuff of some sort wilbe – 7 – 0 – 0
