29 Jan 1817. LETTER FROM CARLISLE ABOUT CASH FOR DISBURSEMENTS. Bundle 65, Doc 42. 37.5 cm x 23.5 cm, folded in half to make four pages. The two middle pages are blank. One large tear and a small hole. C 143 R 61 Mr. Hy. PEARSON Cash for sundries £ 52 ~ 10 ~ 0 ———————————- Jany 29. 1817 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Round postmark:] CARLISLE 29 JA 29 ***7 **** Mr. DIXON Edenhall Penrith ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. PEARSON ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Sir./ I was favoured this morning with your Letter covering Mr. CRAIGGs order on the New Bank for 52£ . 10s . 0d which I have received. I paid Mr. WALDIE the Treasurer to the Fund, for the relief of the Poor, Sir Philips subscription of 21£. The money received will not be sufficient to pay Mr. BLOW and Mr. LAWs Bills as their joint demand amounts to 63£.
